Canadian-born, Leeds-based singer/songwriter Nico Paul explores simple yet poetic lyricism, combined with intricate instrumentation and rich vocal harmony. Ranging from cathartic chamber pop to desolate, introspective folk, his debut EP “What is Lifted” dissects the intimate relationship between grand fantasy and stark reality. For fans of Leonard Cohen, Weyes Blood, Sufjan Stevens, and Feist.
