About this venue

Project House is an independent, locally owned venue on Armley Road, about a 15 minute walk from Leeds city centre. It opened in July 2023 and is one large open-plan room that holds 1,000, with its own production team, PA and lighting, and a big outdoor area. Shows are standing only unless the listing says otherwise.

Alongside gigs and club nights it has hosted free yoga sessions, and it's hired out for conferences, exhibitions, launches, weddings and parties. The on-site kitchen, Galleria, is a wood-fired kitchen and bar serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. The venue is cashless, and bags must be A4 size or smaller.

There's step-free access from the street into the event space, the bars, the accessible toilet (which uses a RADAR key) and the accessibility area. That area is at floor level, for people who need seating or use a wheelchair, and should be booked in advance. Project House gives a free PA or carer ticket and can arrange early entry about ten minutes before everyone else. It has large print stage times and menus on request, and welcomes assistance dogs at most events.

Leeds station is an 18 minute walk away, and the nearest bus stop, Armley Road Bottom, is two minutes away on foot. Taxis can drop off right outside. There's no customer parking, just limited on-street parking, and a very small number of blue badge spaces that have to be booked in advance by email.
